These can be found either in the downloaded archive with the pre-compiled files, or from the folder that is listed above if you choose to compile yourself. - Copy the two above files to **C:\Program Files\zVirtualScenes\Plugins** (assuming that is the folder where zVirtualScenes is located). === zVirtualScenes Control Plugin Installation === Installation is very simple and only requires that you know how to extract a zip file - Shut down **EventGhost** if it is currently running. - Extract the downloaded zip file (with folder included) to **C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\Plugins** ==== Configuration ==== Once you install the plugin, launch **zVirtualScenes** and then follow the below directions: - Navigate to **Tools > Plugin Manager** - Select **EventGhost Plug-in** on the left. - Now configure for your system. Available options: * **Enable the EventGhost Plug-in** - //required//\\ Select this option to start the plugin * **EventGhost Executable** - //required//\\ This is the full path to the EventGhost.exe executable. This should point to where ever you choose to install EventGhost on your system. The default option should work for any 64 bit system. If you are running 32 bit, or installed in a non-default location, simply change this value. * **Notifications to send** - //required//\\ This option lets you configure which zVirtualScenes notifications you want to relay to EventGhost. I would strongly recommend that you use "any" so that all notifications are sent to EventGhost (gives you the most control on the EventGhost side), but if you choose not to do this, you can use the same format for Events filtering that is used for the factory installed plugins. * **Send to Remote Host** - //optional//\\ Enable this option to send the commands to a remote EventGhost server that has the "Network Event Receiver" plugin enabled. Please note, even if using this options, you MUST still have EventGhost installed locally so that the events can be sent. This plugin uses that executable to send the commands whether it is a local installation or remote. * **Host to send Events to** - //required if sending to remote host, otherwise optional//\\ The hostname or IP address of the remote server to send the events to. The value entered can be any address that can be resolved by windows. Either hostname, FQDN, or IP address. * **NetworkEvent Sender Port** - //required if sending to remote host, otherwise optional//\\ Port on which the "Network Event Receiver" is running on the target server. The default port is TCP 1024, but this needs to match however the server is configured. * **Password** - //required if sending to remote host, otherwise optional//\\ Password required in order to send events to the "Network Event Receiver" plugin. This password needs to match whatever is configured on the EventGhost server. ==== Compiling ZVS Plugin ==== If you are simply installing a binary file (.dll file), you can skip this section and go straight to the Installation section below.
